I'm trying to remember where I've seen the BMR brand. PFYC?
Thanks for your take on the BMR's.

While WBS and other places say different bars are better and bla bla bla, its a steel bar being bolted down to help handling. Back in the day I bought a bunch of stuff through the stealership and the guy at the desk gave me dealer cost since it was about $300 worth of stuff. The GM STBs were about $9 a piece. Cant beat that.
last ones I saw were about $20 or something, so I may have to do that
Oh yeah. That conduit is pretty stout actually. Even if it were marginal it wouldnt be nothing to reinforce it a little and still be way way on the cheap side. For that matter, I believe the how to shows you how to reinforce it some if you feel the need.
Conduit is probably more stiff than the GM bars. their weakest point is where they flattened the steel and drilled for the two bolts. Like fish said, I'm not sure that it matters much, however, wbs, seems like it would have more stability, by design, versus any of the others I've looked at. Although I'm not sure anyone would throw their car hard enough into a curve to actually be able to tell the difference between any of them.
As soon as the weather breaks I'm going to throw these things on w/o having them cosmetically ready, just to see if I can tell a difference.
Plus for the money, you cant beat the GM bars. $20 VS $70+.
Ill have to look at the conduit write up. I like cheap. LOL.
Well if you picture conduit up against a GMPP bar, yeah, its going to look like crap. However, thats where paint and such come into play. I suppose one could even have the conduit powder coated.
I dont remember where I found it at, but if I can get it converted to where it can be put up in the How To section I'll do that. Push comes to shove, I can do a How To on my own and post it up.
