Yes lol I'm at work so I can only check periodically. I have received the info I wanted to know. 00-05 Impala rotors, which are same as 01 Monte SS rotors and 01 F body rotors, so I just need the rest of the F body components to do a change over. I wanted to know about 06+ Impala stuff but if it isn't an easy swap, I can't do it. I'm on a budget lol

That isn't too bad! I have rotors already for F body, brackets and calipers are gonna run me about $60 and I just need new pads that's why I'm going that route

Rotors used? Can you re surface them before using new pads?

Remember you'll need sleeves or drill\tap the caliper bracket if you got the F-body route.

They are used, currently on my car lol I will either resurface or get new ones. They aren't too bad so I may just resurface.

As to the sleeving/drilling. I know some of you don't like ZZP but I don't have a ton of tools so if a solution exists that's easier than drilling myself, I'm gonna go that route. ZZP sells a bolt kit that is for swapping to F body brakes, no drilling/sleeving required

Yea but my understanding is that you then need to drill the brackets to fit stock mounting points

You can either drill/tap the bracket to correct size or use sleeves to make up the difference.

You can buy the sleeves from McMasterCarr for pretty cheap. Don't get anything from ZZP unless you like getting screwed. Read that thread Red posted and it'll give you all the info you need.

http://www.regalgs.org/topic/54303-f...brake-upgrade/ has all the info in it for the sleeves, cost like 12 bucks. im running them for like 4 years now, no issues at all.

I'm gonna follow that to a T! Question: do I need the SS brake lines? Or will resuing stock work?

I did the Impala conversion brake on my 08 Grand Prix. The only problem, you cannot put adhesive wheel weights in the inside of the wheels, the calipers is too big and rub on the weights. I hate the look of clip-on wheel weight... I'm looking now for thin wheel weight.
