    im just interested because that is the way that ive got mine set up now. so far it hasnt hurt anything but id rather not test it you know? but ya thats exactly what ive been told that it just shakes the amp appart

    I've got my amps mounted to a board on each side of the trunk passthrough on the trunk side.

    As for the vibration issues, if your sub box rattles that much, you didn't brace your box enough. But generally there are much better spots to put your amps. (On wood mounted to the trunk side of the metal frame around the rear seats)
