So, on my way back from buying my '99 GTP I tried out the HUD, but all it did was make this scratchy/clickty noise, probably just a bad fuse - or is there something else common that goes wrong with HUDs?
Also, I bought the car with 133k on it, it turned over to 134k on the way but the two 3s stuck together and now it reads 144k - there's also a white line between the two fours which was barely there before, I heard this is some sort of tamper-signal. Is there any way to fix this? I also have another gauge cluster (with 225k), is it possible to swap that in for 10k miles then put the original back in? I don't really like the possibility of it turning over 10k for every 1k miles...
