I purchased the modification off ebay and recieved it a couple days ago. After soldering the red wire from the small black box to B3 (supposedly 12v, but it was not dark green or pink, noted I'm color blind) then back to the connector (making a 3 way connection), it did not function from what I could tell. Switching to the CD AUX input was either unresponsive without a CD in, or only played the CD. The switch changed nothing regardless of position, and I would playing music to the aux ports on the box via my phone. The only connection was heat shrinked.
After doing more research I found it supposedly only works for radios with a XM/Satellite connectivity, which made sense to me. But this forum member accomplished it with the same exact part number on his receiver. http://www.grandprixforums.net/06-gr...8-a-58631.html but used a different, seemingly extinct, modification part.
I just need some explanations!
