Has anyone swapped out the lights near the center console where it says P, N, D, R, etc. and could give me a basic idea of how to get at those lights to swap them?

Remove shifter knob- use flathead screwdriver to remove metal clip on the back of it and pull up. Don't yank it, you'll break the wires for the performance shift button if you have that.

    Open center console.

    Remove compartment, it lifts out.

Pry up on the center console on each side by the compartment, flathead screwdriver.

Once you pop that part up, there's 4 or 6 more of those that run along the center console. Just keep lifting it up while using common sense.

Unplug the performance shift if you have it. Unplug heated seat button if equipped.

Now you'll see that all the letters are lit by 1 bulb. Replace it with whatever you want, use LED strips, etc. Whatever you had in mind.

    Hope this helps.
