Help! My center counsel lights are burnt out. I have no idea on how to remove the covering for the center counsel and to change the lights.

From a search of an older post:

It's been a while sense I have had mine out. So I'll see if I can remember everything. To start off with, open you armrest and cup holder. Start at the back of the cover by the armrest and with a flat tip screw driver, pop the rear of the cover up. Oh, before I forget, take the storage compartment out of the console, it just slides out. Once the rear of the cover is popped up on each side, you can do the rest by hand by running your fingers down each side and gently pulling up on it. Once all of the cover is popped loose, you may have to pull the shifter back to 1 or 2 to gat it to slide out with ease. There are 2 screws where the compartment was, 2 at the front of the console, and I can't remember if there are 2 around the center. Once you get the top cover out of the way, you should have no problem seeing all the screws. Hope this helps man.

no no no on the newer style gp you have to pull the whole console, just 4 bolts i believe then you can slide it up enough to get the bulb out pretty easy
