    '01 GTP Sedan, [i think] non-bose.

I've already put my better 6x9s in the rear, but the OE front left is not working, and front right is rattly. Is there any way to make some 4x6's that i already have fit the front doors, without cutting any of the grill/door card?

If so, can I still wire in the factory tweeters along with them?

I know its not ideal, but trying to save some cash by reusing.

Not sure on the door panel part, but you would have to re-work the spacer that the speaker mounts to; without it the magnet would hit the glass. And probably widen the speaker hole in the door itself.

Yes. In the last image above, you can see how I just joined the factory tweeter wires to my connections for my new speakers.

Awesome, thanks. So just wire in parallel for the tweeters.

Looks like there might be enough room to trim the spacer a bit to fit an oval. Maybe try a thin [1/4" or so] piece of wood as a spacer if needed.

Mainly just wondering if it's been done, before i go pop four door panels off.

Most people just go with 6 1/2" door speakers when they upgrade. Not sure I've ever seen an oval speaker installed in a door.
