    Hey all,
I recently bought a 2006 Grand Prix (just the base model). When I took it for a test drive everything worked fine, then when I went to pick it up the next day, the owner (family friend) said that he was cleaning off the radio and suddenly the radio display went out. He thought that he just did something to turn it off, but I cant find anything that might have done that. Did the lights just happen to go out then? Thanks in advance for any advice!

The power button is in the middle of the volume knob. The paint could be worn off try pressing it and seeing if it comes back on. If not try also turning volume up and down with a CD in to see if its on and the lights just aren't working

Sorry I forgot to mention that everything still works fine besides the display, it still plays music, I just can't see what it's playing. I've seen the guide at how to change the bulbs, which I feel completely confident doing, but I'd rather not dig into it only to figure out it was something else. Thanks!!

Well my cousin has his stock 2008 G6 radio that I could have, what are the odds that I could just swap it?
