No sound from Monsoon radio in 2004 GTP Comp G. Please help!

I have a stock Monsoon stereo in my 2004 Grand Prix GTP Comp G. It worked fine for the past 5 years. Once in a while the speakers had static but it would quit when you hit a bump. Now there is no sound at all from the radio or CD player. The display shows the radio is on, shows the channel and the volume bar moves when the volume knob is turned up or down. I thought the HU was bad because I get 12 volts at the amp trigger in the trunk. I purchased a re-manufactured HU from Rock Auto and installed tonight, but there is still no sound. I have not taken it to the dealer for any programming. Any ideas what else I should check or try to get it to work. No radio sucks when driving.

U already posted a thread about this. Check it before making another. Your amp is bad

The tweeters are powered by the amp. Diagram even says so. Bad amp or blown fuse

Well your wrong according to Mitchell1, all data and gm wiring diagrams. my tweeters don't work in my 04 when I unplug my amp so something must have changed from 04-05

I'm telling you, how do you think the cars wired with no amp work? There is4 Chanel sound coming out the deck

The tweeters in my 04 do not work with the amp unplugged. I have verified this.
