I'm not sure if you can call this flickering, but the HID beam moves a little. It does it with the engine off and running. If you stare at the bulb it doesn't seem to flicker, but the beam does.

I've asked and searched around and it seems that the common solution is to use either relays and/or capacitors but it also seems to be not too effective.

Has anyone seen and fixed something like this?

What brand kit is it? I wouldn't doubt its the ballast. Try switching the ballasts around and see if it will do it on the other side. Otherwise, you can try a relay harness.

I can't remember the brand, I'll check in the morning. It doesn't have any relays or capacitors installed as of now. I searched for ballast replacements and there's a few that claim to have "digital" technology and be flicker-proof, but who knows they all look like cheap brands to me lol.

I just looked at ebay, i'm almost 100% sure they're xentec. Looking at the pictures reminded me of the ones I've got. They also seem to be the most common and probably cheapest ones.

Yeah most likely its gonna be the ballast, I have some from DDM tuning and don't have any flickering or problems and been running them for 2 years now.

I have the same problem flickering like that. I bought a relay harness to connect to it but still no fix. I also swapped ballast around and other things like that but no go. It does it with the car running and off. They do seem to work when I first turn the lights on and after maybe 30 seconds they start to flicker. Any help would be appreciated.

Mine still does it, all I've heard is because they're xentecs. I haven't taken the time to replace them I guess it doesn't bother me that much lol.
