Amazon.com: Pioneer MVH-P7300 3" In-Dash AV Receiver with iPod/iPhone Control and Pandora: Car Electronics That is what I have. I was able to snake it on Amazon for like $150 last year. They do go on sale quite often. It has NO CD slot, but that is more than mine by me. It has an SD card slot, so you can basically store ALL of your music in the deck. Not only is that very convenient, but since there is no moving parts, it will never ever skip if you go over bumps like a CD player would. It also has a USB input so you can use your iPod to listen to music, or watch videos on it. I would keep an eye out for it to drop in price if I were you. It's a pretty kickass deck.

No matter what model or make you buy you will have to purchase a wiring harness adapter( $30-$100 approx) to wire to stock wiring, no aftermarket is plug-n-play, and if you wish to have steering wheel controls you will also have to purchase a wiring adapter ( $45- $100 approx) for this also, prices depend on where you purchase said items. I would suggest you start with Crutchfield.com just to see what's out here and determine what you will need. The website will guide you through the entire process just by clicking on OUTFIT MY CAR. Hope this will help you. If you decide to purchase from them they include some accessories with your purchase and also include step by step instruction for your car and their customer support is second to none for anything you might need to ask concerning your purchase.

A wiring harness to make the aftermarket deck work as I said early is just matching same-colored wires. They also only cost about $5-7 at walmart.

And to make steering wheel controls, depending on the brand of deck you get, you just need something called a Pac-SWI. They're between 30-60 depending on which one you need.

Neat site there simbah. I typed my info in and the "budget recommendation" was actually the same Pioneer DEH-3300UB (aka Pioneer DEH-33UB) that I was looking at prior to seeing the site. The site says it fits too, and 21 people recommend it...just might have to consider it haha.

Damn $100? I paid over 200 when it first came out http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewi...d=360423503520

Check eBay for the 33 model Most auctions will include the harness as a "free" bonus.

Well I'm still not quite sure on what all I'll need but I do know I don't have the bose setup so that might turn out to be a plus afterall.

At least in the regal , with the monsoon set up, the wire harness from the car to the deck was all I needed. My head unit still plays thru the factory wiring that in return, is connected to the monsoon amp

I'd have to second pioneer. Kenwood as well. Go to Crutchfield and put in all your desired specs.

I had a Kenwood in my DSM last year and it was great. I got an Alpine for my GT this year and well... it kept crashing my iPhone when changing songs. My iPhone is jailbroken too so that could be the reason but I returned it for another Kenwood and all is good again. So just its up to you. Not like the dash is hard to take out and replace it.
