Well, I finally got around to putting a small stereo setup in my 2000 GTP. I had the advantage of the previous owner leaving JL audio speakers in the front and rear. Older stuff, but sounds decent:

Installed a JVC Arsenal KD-AHD69 CD receiver at Crutchfield Signature as I wanted iPod input for my iPod Touch, and wanted to try out HD radio as well. I was able to fit it flush in the dash after modding the rear plastic behind the stock radio. No 1" radio sticking out for me here......
I picked up a Dual Electronics 2 12" bandpass box from Amazon for 151$ 2 day shipped (Love the trial of Amazon Prime). This is the shot from the front seat looking at the ski hole. The single center port aligns up nicely with the hole, so I have very little trunk rattle, if at all.
A buddy gave me a Phoenix Gold Titanium 500.4 amp he was no longer using, so I am running just the rear channel bridged for 250w@4ohm to the subs.
My next project is to run the front speakers to the unused front section of the amp (75w@4ohm) and find a 2 channel to run the rear speakers.
I also thought of bridging the front\rear left & front\rear left as a 2 ohm load each (125w@2ohm) as an additional option.
