I have a 2006 Grand Prix GT.
Ok so I went out and bought everything I need for a new system.
I got a new Pinoneer AVH-p4200dvd heaqd unit. I have a pioneer amp for my subs and a old school pheonix gold amp for my speakers.
I bought the PAC databus harness for my setup and everything works good.
Of course I have not put my pheonix gold amp in line yet. I was thinking during my install when I run the RCA to my amp and wire all my speakers to that I will lose my chimes because the speakers no longer go through the PAC harness. I want to run new speaker wires to each speaker and leave all the factory wires in place and virgin.
I did some searches here and couldnt find what anyone else is doing to resolve this.
What should to do to run my speakers through an after market amp and still keep my chimes? I hope I didnt buy the wrong harness. It supports the onstar, factory amp and works good.
Any idea's??
