So im running a memphis 2 channel class D 500 watt amp.... wired at 2ohms. i have a DB 600x1 laying around the house. Anything noticeable power gains from 100 extra watts?
subs= 2 10 in DD 1500 series.

You would just be wasting your time. 3db is the equivalent to doubling power so 100 watts won't get you far.
not worth it for reason two posts above.
model numbers.
Whats the nominal impedance of the subs?
also need the full model number of the memphis amp
not sure of model number on amp... its mounted on a board to back seat. i know for a fact it is 2 ohm stable. 500 rms on subs. i dont really need anymore power.. i think i got all my settings to where i want them... subs hurt my ears today.. thats enough for me.
then dont bother
My two twelves will hurt my ears with 150 watts a piece. Still sound like junk though.
