the radio and PNRD321 lights are always hot in my car when the dash lights are on at night...
this is during daytime , if that makes a difference ?? It just feels unusally hot , if someone could temp theres after sometime on , to compare .....
Im just concerned for my friend , its her car , don't want to see it go up in smoke ..
thanks ...

oh i see i believe the only time they get hot is beacause of the bulbs used as backlights...
i think it's alright. my stock radio got pretty toasty and the aftermarket one does too after awhile. i know the lights by the gear selector and the displays by the heat/air conditioning about burn my hand when i make the 2 hour drive to school. the foglight switch gets pretty warm too. i've never took the temperature but it's pretty hot.
Just recently my factory radio/cd player had half the display go dim, and it does get very hot. I always have the cd player on, all the time, even if I'm not listening to it and the volume is just down. I guess eventually the whole thing may burn out, but I plan on an aftermarket unit in the future anyways.
