    ****ing noobs.

the unknown **** is usually better or at least comparable in quality and is cheaper to boot.

I have the same problem around here.

I say i have a an 18" 1000 watt sub in my car and people say "but how many RMS?"

    1000...

"how many watts is your amp?"

    1000....

    "I mean RMS"

    1000...

    "OH ****"

got rid of that though, going old school now, small amps, maybe two 12's with 20 MM of xmax but XBL^2 motors so it'll sound a hell of a lot better.

audio pulse is basically overpriced TC Sounds.

Wait till TC sounds comes back (which i doubt will ever happen) or see what other companies have to offer.

The sub is wired at 4 ohm cause I don't think the amp is stable at 1 ohm. So I'm getting around 400 RMS. That's why I want a new amp that is stable at 1ohm while producing 1000 Watts RMS

    Ever had a sub before?

If not, might wanna start a little lower.

Or just get a 15" FI BLT and put it in a ported box and enjoy.

500 rms means 2-2.5 inch voic coil.

and no t/s specs means its either **** or overpriced for what you're getting.

If your looking for a decent amp go with the audiopipe series. They push out the rms on 12volts and they are amazing quality amps. I run the 3k which is just 2 1500's in the same shell. I've tried everything when it comes to amps(JL Audio, JBL, Hifonics, Memphis, Alpine, Kicker, and Soundstream) and would recomend a audiopipe over any of those.

Good clean power on the cheap....Cadence.

Me and Matt have the same philosophy but we say it differently. Your goal should be to to move as much air space as possible if you're looking for decibels. That doesn't mean bigger is better. Personally...anything above 120db is useless for daily driving. I just don't see how it's enjoyable :/

FYI: 155+ db's using a 6.5" subwoofer in a 6th order bandpass. Your goal should be efficiency. More power doesn't always do the job. EDIT: (this was a burp...not music!)

    11 is louder than 10!

Can't do it unless you go uber budget stuff.

I can take a look later tonight, but it's tough.
