Has anybody ever wired their headlights so that the low beams stay on when you switch to your highs? I just bought and installed projectors and would love to do this, but all I can find is info on the fog lights staying on.

I have an '07 so I'm not a 100% sure but the simplest solution would be to wire the headlamps to come on with the parking lamps via a relay harness. This would trigger the headlamps to come on with the parking lamps so the auto function would work normally and you'd be able to turn on the highbeams with the headlights staying on. The main problems are the fact that you could never run with just the fogs on (since the parking lamps are on with the fogs so would the headlights) and the headlights will blink with the parking lamps when you lock and unlock your door with the keyfob...that's not a problem if you are running halogen bulbs but if you have HID's it'll fry the ballasts. I did this for my buddy with an 02 Tahoe running halogens, works fine.
The other alternative would be to modify the procedure for running the fogs with the highbeams on simultaneously.

I am interested in doing this as well. There are many threads showing how to do this with HIDs, but I am keeping my projectors halogen. I installed Osram Nightbreaker H1 bulbs in the projectors which improved the output a little. If I could have both the 9005 bulb and the projectors on, I think the high beam output would be great.
There are tons and tons of different ways that you could do this.
the easiest way that I can think of if you didnt want them to blink is to find a switched power source( turns on with the ignition like your cd player) take that wire and attach it to a relay. that would get rid of power loss since the power isnt traveling as far and would make it so they wouldnt blink. then just have your highbeams set up like normal so when you flip them on your light turns on on your dash.
let me know if you want me to draw a quick diagram
but like I said there are tons of different ways to do this. just make sure that when you do it take your time and get all of your connections good and tight as well as water proof so they do not fail.
edit i for got you can also put in a toggle in line with the power from the 12 swich and you could then just run with just your fog lights on if you wanted to
