    2002 Grand Prix GT
    Occasionally won't start.
Moving the tilt column up and down sometimes gets it to start.
Seems like there might be a short in the ignition somewhere in the column?

I was told that the security module that mounts on the ingition key lock cylinder can be a problem.

Anyone have experience wih this problem? Is it common?
More importantly, is it something I can fix myself easily?
    Any suggestions much appreciated.

I am having the same problem with my 97 GrandPrix GT. Did you ever get this figured out? My husband is thinking maybe the neutral safety switch?
