I have recently started having problems with a whinning sound coming from my front right speaker and sometimes the rear speakers also. When I accelerate the noise pitch gets higher. I tried messing with the wires to the sub and amps but everything seems nice and tight and I only just noticed it recently.

Does it sound like a connection problem with the amps or something else. I bought the car used and didnt install the system so I honestly dont know much about it. My dad was using the car for about a month before I could pick it up and never noticed the problem and anyone with working ears would notice the sound.

Any help would be great. Thanks

it sounds like you are getting feedback from your alternator or the battery. I had a friend who got this in his 97 maxima, to fix it we relocated his ground and checked all the connections because if one connection is bad or a ground is not fully secure it is possible for all types of feedback

OK, Ill have to get in the back and figure out how he has it wired up and check everything. I figured it was a loose connection somewhere but the whole getting high pitched with the engine threw me off. Thanks!

Seems I had that problem years ago and I changed the spark plug wires. The ones I changed out were not very good, with better wires the problem went away.
Try that if nothing else helps.
