DIC info

So ive got a 00 gt with a DIC that says the mpg, oil life, gallons used, and how far till i need to fill up. ive noticed it doesnt always work. If i reset the mpg itll change for a couple of mins then stay the same till the next time i reset it. and with the how many miles till i fill up doesnt really seem to go along with my trip odemeter. So my question is... is everyone elses DIC like this? or is mine just messed up

Everything is estimated, it's not %100 true.

well my "estimate" is veryyy off. liek 150miles or so.
