I have a 05 gtp with monsoon and I had someone install it today. I however we got power to the radio but I couldn't program the steering controls and there is no audio. In unsure of where exactly it gets its power and audio signals that's why I pay for a install at a local radio shop. If anyone has a correct way of wiring it with the Metra wiring harness with the steering controls working please let me know. Thanks alot.

Take a look at Crutchfield. If you spec your car for the radio you bought it should show you what you need to make it all work. Likely need a PAC interface adapter to retain steering wheel controls and whatnot. IIRC there may be some things that cannot be retained but it varies. They also offer to sell you a pre-made wiring harness to connect to said aftermarket radio so there is no guessing and no soldering, etc. Just plug and play. I've used their stuff on many new radio installs and have yet to have any issues and didn't have to pay a shop to do it for me.
