I really like the look of the LED tails. Does anyone know if they stand up to the weather better than the factory ones? Like will they start to leak like the OEM lights or will I permanently prevent that from happening by getting said lights? My current tails are separation free.

I assume that you have a 97-03, if so I do believe they stand up better to the test of time. Only issues I have ever heard from anyone about them is the resistors going bad. But Im not sure how often that happens.

    Oh yeah duh! 01 SE.

I hope to drive this car for at least another 5 years. My thought process is that good tails are difficult to find now, how hard are they gonna be to find in 2 or 3? By then the LED tails may not even be made anymore. So if I can grab a set of LED tails and know they will last then I'll head off that problem.

Plus I like the look as well.

Good to know. I'm definitely encouraged to hear this.

I have already converted all of my other lights except white ones (headlights, fogs, and backups) to LEDs. So I already have LED bulbs in the back, but would like to actually get the full tail assembly. I like the modern look.

I installed my Spyder tail lights almost 7 years ago, and no water has ever gotten inside. And I live on the Wet Coast!

In with Bronco, I got the same tails (darker shade of red) for the last 5. My car wasn't garaged and out in the elements, they're holding up great.

Oh hell yeah! Okay I definitely think I'm going to get some then. Leaning towards the smoked red ones to give it a close to stock look.

Now I'm just stuck on if I want to do anything on the headlights. I put another post up if any of you have experience with any headlight mods Question about Headlights your advice would be awesome.

Bronco boy, looks slick. I also really like the debadged look. Likely going to do that as well.
