So I've recently installed some Audiopipe midrange speakers with the sealed back. Now no matter how much I tune my amp I can't get use to the way these speakers produce sound. Nothing but vocals, very directional, and bass forget about it. I just about had it with trying the 'active' way and I'm about to get some coaxials and call it a day!! It sounds more complete to me!

Well you didn't give anyone much to go on, so I will have to assume that you are talking about a speaker about 5-6" in size with a sealed basket. Sounds like you got exactly what the speaker would have been designed for.
An engine is an engine no matter the size.... I think Dr. Seuss said that... or maybe it was Big Weld....

Just a quick reminder to ensure you didn't get the polarity / phasing wrong...
