After swapping a trans over the weekend I have run into an annoying electrical issue. When separating the transmission the ground loops that go on the transmission stud in the front broke. We got new ground loops and crushed them on to the wires. The rest of the swap went well without any other electrical hickups. After started the car the radio was not working at (aftermarket Kenwood Unit) all and the ABS light would come on randomly. Everything else worked fine.
After the initial drive to check out the new trans the radio suddenly started working (Did not hit any bump on the road), but the front plate illumination was not working at all. Now I am down to a Random ABS light and no display on the head unit. Anyone ever deal with something like this before? Any suggestions of where to start looking?
