    I read that the transmission runs hotter on the gxps but ill be driving for 20 miles at 70mph and the temp jumps up to 213 and i kbow this question has probably been asked alot but what can i do to keep it running cooler??

    Normal operating temperature for a transmission is 220*

    LS4 block is aluminum, hence the heat that transfers over to transmission.

    Add a trans cooler and temps may drop 15-25ยบ.

    the manual i got with the car is saying 170-190 is normal which is why im confused

    170-190 is normal, but it's very common for these to run 210-220. Trans cooler is an easy and fairly cheap solution.

    yup easy solution is the trans cooler, have one just no time to install. but my trans runs around 190 area now that were out of the heat but it would get to 211 max
