What is there for our cars that will make them quicker or have more hp? PCM tune? Headers? Downpipe? Cat/res Delete? Muffler Delete?

I know it is a contradiction to say easy/cheap HP gains because there is no such thing :P just wondering what mods there are for our cars.

Turbo is all thats worth it.

The numbers i saw for headers were pretty sad. Not worth it in the slightest imo.

What are you looking for for gains? Nothing's cheap and easy really. You can do headers with full 3" exhaust, LS1/LS6 intake manifold, CAI intake, Cam, RRs, Heads, Lifters, the list goes on. The easiest way to get to 300whp is with full 3" exhaust, LS6 intake manifold, and a pair of RR's (excluding bottle feeding it or blowing it). So good luck to you man.

Thank you for all the replies! I was super vague with the original post but I was looking for different responces. I looked over most of the fourm and have not seen a lot, maybe I did not look hard enough. If someone could point me in the right direction(post wise) that would be beneficail . I do not know if there are any mods on the car but I know the muffler/exhaust is not stock its much louder, it has a cat/resinator on it. Ill try to get a video up of it soon. It also has a CAI.
I plan on getting a TEP trans with 3.29 gears because my Torque converter is going, and heard all but good from them. Thoughts on 3.69 gears? (I know this is not the thread for this, sorry)
I was looking in specific what numbers would be gained from doing (x) to the car.
bigger injectors? I have heard ours are big enough already.
    CAI HP+?
    Down pipe HP?
    LS6 intake Swap HP?
The list goes on and on.
Thanks again sorry for the sloppy post but I only had a few minutes on a computer today

Gains aren't worth noting on a stock engine. A built engine though is a different story. And some people prefer the N/A compared to F/I like myself.

Believe me, I'd be right with you if there wasn't the roots/twin screw.

I want a little gain not much tho because it is my DD. I was looking at LS6 intake because that one seems to be the best, headers with a full exhaust, and a tune with DoD disabled(because its annoying as ever). I'm very indecisive and scared the exhaust will sound bad with new mufflers/cat/res and DP. Any reccomendatons? thanks again all
