Hello I have a 05 gxp that won't turn over , changed battery, tested starter, it doesn't even click , now if I hook charger straight to starter it'll turn over but won't spin like it should.(acts like batt. low) turns over slow then quits... any ideas?? I've checked battery connections , any ideas?? Also checked grounds but plan on adding some today just to be sure... if charger is hooked to starter why wouldn't it turn over fast like it should??? Any help is greatly appreciated...
    Thanks

Not sure hooking the charger to the starter is a good idea, but never tried it. If it won't spin over fast enough to start then I would suspect the starter is toast.

Other than that have you checked all the fuses? When was the last time it started/ran on it's own? Did this just happen out of the blue?

Started after battery died the other day until then it was running fine... I have had issues with the ignition before ,(when you turn key if display doesn't say gxp like normal them it wouldn't turn over but if you shut it off and tried it again when gxp came up on display then it started everytime) and I get my gxp on display now but doesn't turn over now... I'm not sure what I'm missing , I've unbelted everything in case something was locking up (h2o pump or alt., etc) but still same thing... added grounds , ohmed out grounds and power wires both seem good... I do have a couple relays making noise on pass side fender but usually shut up , and I swapped relays with similar ones in fuse box... no difference... any ideas would be greatly appreciated... I can't be the only one to run into this...
    Thanks

Hello and it only happened about a week ago when I let the battery go dead... until then it was running fine, (now ignition switch has messed up in past, if you turn key and gxp shows on display then it started fine but if no gxp showed up on display then it wouldn't even try to turn over and you'd have to cycle key off and back on until gxp showed on display then good to go) but never took more than a couple tries... but now I get gxp on display and still doesn't try to start... it'll click like battery's dead sometimes and you can hear relays clicking on fuse box on passenger fender but still doesn't turn over... and battery's new, starters new and connections all seem good , ohm out ok... so I'm hoping someone's ran into this before... because I'm out of ideas... any help is greatly appreciated!!
    Thanks

Do you have a second ignition key for this car? If so, try that one and see if it starts.

Read thru no help, thanks but any more ideas? I've went ahead and changed ignition because I wasn't sure if that was issue bit nothings changed, even replaced the relays under hood that was clicking when trying to start.. not really sure where to go from here, it's been way to long being broken tho... admittedly I've been out with a bad knee so haven't messed with it in a while but it's time to figure it out... I can't be only one who's ran into this... any help is greatly appreciated and I will post my findings for next poor soul who has this issue once I find problem...
    Thanks to all

Well I went thru thread and that didn't seem to be my problem but it was worth checking.. any other ideas?? I went ahead and replaced ignition but nothing changed, also changed 4 relays that was clicking in fuse box under hood... idk what it could be but wanna blame it on the remote start or whatever would keep it from turning over full speed.. cause it seems like it's dragging or being told not to start(anti theft possibly idk) any help I'd greatly appreciated....
    Thanks

Thank you for posting the resolution to this one. Strange the ECU decided to crap out but it's just electronics so anything is possible, lol.
