I got an OBDII message telling me the oil pressure sensor was out, so I replaced it. The code came back last week, and I cleared it.

Now, apparently, the sensor is working, because I got "Low Oil Pressure" on the DIC. I checked the level, and it was low. Immediately threw in a quart.

I have never gotten a "Low Oil Level" message, which is one of the reasons I assume the DoD isn't working. Does this masterpiece not HAVE an oil level sensor, just as it can't be bothered to tell me when the DoD is active, or do I have a dead sensor somewhere? If so, approximately where?

Revised situation--I now have TWO oil pressure sensor codes, 0521 and 0522. Has my non-OEM sensor already taken a ****, or is the problem that (despite buying picks for the specific purpose) I couldn't get the screen out to clean it or change it?

ive learned that with quite a few different car makes, aftermarket sensors have a tendency to be this way.
