A bunch of people arguing about their wrong wheel drive, 13 second V8 cars.
This is funny.
Newsflash, it's all slow.

It's all about correct exhaust velocity.
Just because you have 2.5" or 3.5" doesn't mean it's going to:
A) Choke the car out
or
B) Gains stupid amounts of power.
Backpressure is laughable and so is the debate about gaining power on a 275~ WHP LS4 car going from 2.5" to 3" is funny as well.
Good thing you were here to let us all know.
Oh no problem skipper.
I'll be here tomorrow, too.
Looking forward to more wisdom, Gilligan.
Ok. So back to the dod delete. What's the best way other than the Diablo tune. I don't care about a tune honestly just want to get rid of it without tearing the motor apart
I'm honestly not sure on how much oil it's burning. My car has 130k I just bought it a week ago. I just want the dod gone because it sounds terrible with the exhaust on it. It sounds like I'm driving a helicopter down the highway and from what I was reading it just helps The car from burning oil.
Unless you already have a tuner or HP tune access this wont be cheap just to get rid of that noise. Do what you want, but if it was me it would be much cheaper to add a resonator or different mufflers. My exhaust is stock, and while I can tell when it enters 4 cylinder mode it is not annoying at all.
Well from what I read it helped with the oil burning. Not sure if this car does or not but after driving it you can smell it so I just want to help prevent anything I can
Lots of info on it. I don't have it tuned out, but mine doesn't use any oil between changes either. Good info here. Do some searching.

A bigger reason to disable it, is because the lifters are prone to failure. The less they are active, hopefully the longer they last.
What's a reasonable tuner I can buy to get rid of it that won't cost me an arm and a leg
Do some searches. You just got the car, don't blow your whole wad getting rid of an annoying exhaust note. Chances are if the transmission isn't gone thru already you will have to spend money there, and that wont be cheap.
I think someone has already done work to the trans
Diablo tune is the cheaper solution, hptuners is the CORRECT solution.
