Ok first start off is I was racing when on take off the car sputtered and when I came to a stop it was idling very rough and barely wanted to move. Well I put the plugs out of cylinder 1&3 and they were smashed. So i replaced them and now I have a ticking noise and when I go to get on it or about 70%throttle it starts like misfiring and cutting out and have makes alot of racket. So I went back and checked the plugs well only cylinder3 plug was gray looking with deposits on it. And when I get on it it starts to smoke. I would like to get some info on what it could be. I opened the oil filler cap and looked at the rockers to see if they were moving but I can only see on cylinder3 one of the rockers and not the other so would it move if the other one is also? Thanks

First off stop driving it. You likley have 2 chipped pistons. You said that you have 2 smashed spark plugs so that is what led me to this conclusion.

If you don't know how to rebild an engine you may as well just buy a used short block.

If you keep driving you're car you're motor is going to seize up.

The real way to tell is to pull the head and look.

    But,

Since you're plugs were smashed and you're car is still running plus you're using oil then that's another way to tell.

You're using oil because you're piston rings are no longer sealing good causing the crankcase to get pressurized by the blowby that you are experiencing causing oil to be pushed into the cylinder and burnt.
