I have upgraded pcm from zzp, 3 inch downpipe (no cat), resonator, and cold air intake! the only code its throwing its fuel trim to rich bank 1! just changed upstream o2 sensor and still getting the problem I have a obd scanner that Bluetooth's to my phone but not sure what to look for on there can any one help what should I do next

tune up time maybe. or the icm could be taking a crap, or a coil.

When did this start? Was it after a mod you added or after you worked on the car. Coil was a thought as well or Your fuel trims most likely need to be reset. Google or search here how to reset these maybe by a battery disconnect or fuse pull. I know when my fuel trim were way fat i had similar issues. Any accel under load and it would fall on its face and sputter. I would also get ahold of zoomer at zzp give him some of your data and have them lean out the tune.

When was the tune added? Do you have your old pcm to swap back in. If not check your plugs wires then maybe head to the junkyard and get some coil packs try those shouldn't be too expensive

How to the plugs look? What brand O2 sensor did you swap in. Also is your throttle body dirty? I say disconnect the battery then check the plugs, clean TB. Hookup battery then go for a good 30 min drive. Start out easy and try to drive at different speeds/loads then slowley get a bit more aggressive and see if it gets better. Keep trying things man you figure ot out sooner or later.

Ok so now I've changed O2 sensor, coil packs, spark plug and wires! And it's continued to get worse died 5 times on highway on my way to work taking longer to get started sometimes it will die and start right back up other times it dies and takes several times to get it started again what's my next try at it? I was thinking fuel pump but don't wanna spend 200 If that's not it

I guess MAF sensor at this point.

If you know anyone with another 3800 from 99-03 you could do a quick swap and find out before you buy a new one.

Unplug the maf sensor see if that helps it not die out...I would guess maf sensor as well...or possible icm failing.

Wouldn't maf be throwing a check engine light or some kind of code? Only code I've got is rich in bank 1 and that went away after I changed the O2 sensor so I currently have no codes
