O rings are all still there, it seems that the one without the connector in it still is the only one that feels like it wants to go on tight, the one with the connector doesnt do anythin

Again, thanks for the help. So am i even missing any hardware or do i just need to bend the tabs back up? The low pressure line doesnt even have a tab but still feels like it wants to grab more.
I found this thread and thought it was interesting on this topic

okay so i went to gm and they said i need new lines obv. So i went to napa and got some 3/8 fuel disconnect clips and one of them went in on the line that is on the right (high pressure one i think) The one on the left seemed like it was a tad bit smaller and wouldnt fit the circumference of the clip inside it. Hmmm what to do???
Thanks to everyone that helped out with this issue. The fuel feed is 3/8 and the return is 5/16. You can get the GM part 800-005 for 3/8 retaining clip or 800-006 for 5/16 retaining clip. So glad its figured out now.
