    Alright so I'm working on a Pontiac grand prix that won't start. I know when it used to start you had to give it gas as soon as you start it or it would die. Thinking fuel I changed the fuel filter. No luck, so I went ahead and changed the fuel pump. That didn't change anything either. So I ran the codes, I got;
    P0128, P0068 twice, P0102 twice, P0135 twice, P0443 twice, P1518. I have no idea what the codes mean besides what showed up on the scanner. Not sure if one is keeping the car from starting or how to fix them and need help.
    Also I was able to start the car with starting fluid so I'm thinking it's more fuel related. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    p128- coolant thermostat below regulating temp
    p0068- throttle position sensor not consistent with mass air flow sensor
    p0102 mass air flow sensor low input
    p0135 - O2 sensor heater circuit malfunction ( bank 1, sensor 1 )
    p0443- evaporative emission control system , purge control system malfunction
    p1518- I don't have a p1518 definition

    Do you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the key on ? Check fuel pressure regulator also.

    I have a ford mustang, which when I turn the ignition on I hear it buzz, loudly, but when I do the same with the Pontiac I dont really hear anything. I was gonna check the pressure regulator but someone told be that's on the return side an wouldn't effect it. Also when I pressed the bleeder valve in on the fuel rair the fuel rose about 3-4 inches. Working on getting a pressure guage to check it. Also got a picuploadfromtaptalk1405561344723.jpg

    I would probably start by cleaning or replacing the MAF sensor. That might clean up the TPS code.
    May need to replace the bank 1 02 sensor which is the one right behind the engine on the manifold or otherwise known as the upstream one.
    The EVAP code, I would say either a leak in the hose from the EVAP to the throttle body, or canister needs replacing.
    I'm fighting an EVAP code on my car right now =P

    P1518. Da ef? Lol unsure about that one

    Have you cleaned the TB on this car yet? If not, clean it with TB cleaner and clean the MAF with MAF cleaner and don't touch the wires. Just spray it and let it dry. On the TB, take it off the car and clean both sides of the butterfly. It may look clean on the car, but it probably is filth on the inside. We had this problem on our 05 and cleaning both the TB and MAF fixed that issue.

    Check the connections. Check the wiring connecting to the battery to see if the wires are crimped anywhere or melted.
    Does it lose its charge fast?
