Car was running rather well, pulled the belts off, the balancer off, put the new seal on, balancer back on, belts back on, car turns over but no higher than 1 - 200 rpms

I can't check for spark now simply because the battery acts as if it is completely dead now. Turn key on and it clicks once at the starter and then nothing else.
I removed and checked the positive battery connection and it looked fine. Doesn't look dirty or corroded or anything. I didn't remove the negative because I didn't touch that one when I went to change the seal at the crank. I removed the positive connection so I could move the fuse box around and what not to reach the tensioner for the engine belt better. But I'll check the negative connection too.
To check for fuel do you want me to make sure that the rail is pressurized? I can hear the pump kick on every time I turn the key to on

see if you have 12 volts min at the battery.
try a jump start yet? the lights come on, horn blow loud? inside lights and dash stay lit after it goes click? or the key stuck forward after the click due to weak or lack of power?
Its getting fuel. Pulled a spark plug and it was somewhat wet with gasoline.
It's getting spark. I pulled a plug and wire and set it up where I could see it as I turned the car on I saw it spark
Battery is giving plenty of voltage.
Not sure what the next step is

Oh no, its a part of my stereo system that I didn't finish because the amp I had was no good. I never finished the wiring so I just put that wire on the reservoir bolt to keep it out of the way =P

So I got it to run a little bit. If you want to call it 'running'. It hiccuped to life and I had to keep pressing the gas to keep the car running and even then it only revved to about 500rpms. Then after I got out of the car it slowly spit and sputtered to its death.. Not sure whats going on.
