Lol yeah. Well I guess I'm going to switch the balancers and see if that works. The crank still has the keyway on it thankfully!!

Unplugged the Mass Air Flow and it revved a little weird and then kinda died the same way. Just stops breathing and flat lines

I had done it before the swap, but I'm fairly sure this is the one from the new engine now that I am looking at the bolts.. I don't have a vehicle right now and no Mass Air Flow sensor cleaner =/

Hey..it started nice after you fixed what I suggested. Soooo how badly dinged up was that key? if it was loose..you might be off timing again... which is a problem
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

It ran for a few minutes no problem, then stalled like it did when I had a dirty Mass Air Flow.
You think it may have kinda jumped timing a little again?

If you unplug maf and can't keep it running with a little throttle.. then I would think that maybe it's sloppy key and you are going to hate yourself soon

It stays running with slight throttle. Just dies after idling for a while

Keep it running for a full minute. Put it in gear and keep it idling for another minute in gear. Then see if it'll hold it's own.

It used to stall out even before I had a problem with the car skipping timing, just to let you know
