Did you ever check the plugs/wires again? Coils?

Yeah but it only misfires at crazy acceleration top end. U think u can drive it hard and have it plugged in and it'll pick up the code when its wot? Because if not its clear and no codes. Im not so great to get in and fix stuff but i have an affordable mechanic that works at home

Im thinking about replacing the plugs again just to see what happens. Pretty sure my cables are good i bought them new 17k miles ago.

I'm talking about a live feed scanner while driving it, like a tuner on a laptop, or a aeroforce.
Crap at idle doesn't mean squat since there is TONS more load on the motor at that speed.
What plugs? Get autolite 605's. Gap them at .050".
Is the car stock otherwise?
And what i meant is even if not at idle there is no codes i can even wot 1st 2nd 3rd no codes. All boost 100 plus misfire. I can drive it hard between 0 to 100 no problems. I really have to get the car going to misfire. I dont do it all the time but now that i know it does i know something must not be right

I just don't have money to be dumping on a mechanic shop that has no straight answer! Its getting really expensive to keep this car i always have to change parts!

No i don't beat on it but ive always had used cars and yes always had to replace parts here and there but this one is giving me a little bit more of a trouble. I love it dont get me wrong but it takes time to have it at least 100percent good!

I still have possible steering shaft issue, first steering rack completely snapped without any heavy driving, not the one i replaced its leaking so i should of just went with a new rack! Im confused i don't have time to fix all those things! U think i should just fix it or sell?

It's a GTP, which means that even if you're not beating on it, there's a decent chance the previous owner(s) did. Anytime you're dealing with forced induction, you're going to have higher maintenance costs because the engine endures much higher stresses than a typical n/a engine.
I think you need to find someone that can hook an aeroforce or tuning laptop up to your car, then hit the highway and reproduce the problem with the scanners on it. That'll tell you what is causing the issue.
Put a new rack on it, and keep it under 100mph...Seems to me that if it's perfect under 100mph, there's no reason to get rid of it. Not exactly a daily driving issue if it's only above 100mph...
Here's a thought.
If it keeps misfiring over 90-100...
Maybe quit driving that fast?
But noooo, common sense not needed.
who in their right mind would feel safe driving a gp at 90-100mph.
Me?
No nvmd.
Not really.
you only did that to race other people. and you have experience crashing cars.
