Oh ok thanks man, thats what i needed to know![]()
Now to hit up chevrolet tomoro![]()
I have the sealant already. If i strike out at gm dealers think a ford dealer woould have it?
Thanks. Im still working out the bugs on my swap, the coupler is the biggest bug left![]()
buy a green one off e bay search eaton m90. all sorts of parts come up. i got a green one off e bay that cost 21 shipped, its 3 years old and not clicking.
or zzp's green 40 dollar coupler.
I have a new green one ready to go that a friend gave me.. Just didnt know what to do about the gasket
Had planned on changing it b4 installation but the oppertunity popped up to drop in the motor and i took it![]()
your all set then. i used a spray bottle, stuck the straw in the snout, and sprayed the oil out into the bottle from the sprayer.
then laid rags down on the lim, and the front of the lim to cover the timing cover area. cause some will spill out when you pull the snout off. mopped that up, then sprayed it down with brake cleaner.
same with inside the snout, and the gears. spray it all down. i used a full can of brake cleaner.
^handy tip, will save a lot of cleanup thanks man![]()
oh, most importation, wear latex gloves, i wear 2 or 3 pairs at a time. cause they always seem to rip. that oil stink will stay with you all day and night, even after a good hand wash and a shower.
Aint that the truth. When i bought the motor the sc woulda been an extra $220. Already had an sc so i pulled tje guts on the motors original m90 and they gave me the case as an upper intake lol. I damn near puked
It's not a terrible smell but you sure don't want that on your bare hands.
