Thread: oil leak

i have an oil leak, i put my car up on the ramps to change the oil and the base pan and trans were covered in oil. cant find the leak, it is a slow leak, i drove 300 k and it never moved on the dip stick. is there a common oil leak that i could check first ? the car is a 1998 gtp

Best thing to do is clean and then inspect.


Could be a lot of things. The common things i guess you could say would possibly include the Oil pan gasket,front or rear main seals ect.


I would lean more twards the oil pan gasket.

it kind of seems like the oil pan gasket
