They were supposed to be Modded retainers, but measuring with a micrometer and calipers I couldn't find a difference between these and stock.
No missing pedestals. Yet! Hopefully non of them break.
The noise has about gone away.

I just can't figure out the KR problem.
Both cars are modded the same and both are getting kr but not Everytime you step on the gas.

Well, bad luck has found me again.
My wife called me today and said her car just stopped pulling. So it's transmission time in Tn again.
I'm betting the forward band gave up the ghost.

Well I have still not come to the conclusion of whats causing my KR issue.
From 0 to 70ish I get no more than 1°,
But from 70ish to 96 I get anywhere from 3-5°. When it shifts to 3rd it goes completely away.
DHP tune, SD headers, 1.9 HS rockers, cone intake, ported SC, ported LIM, stock pulley, 105 crow springs.

The first pic is cruising at 55mph, the second Pic is WOT.

Anybody have ideas on where to look in hopes of getting rid of all KR?

nothings hitting, I'm running 606's, all the mods posted above, seafoamed the engine, solid lower mounts, the only movement I can see is the dogbones are a tad loose.
I'm open to suggestions. Please help

I am running the stock timing components. 200K. Yes I know it needs replaced, just haven't had the time and ive got "out of sight out of mind syndrome" lol

    Could the chain cause KR?

A stretched chain might give you a slight variation in the timing. Have you ever case learned the car?
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Well since my KR issues are still haunting me, (atleast until I get my next PCM)
    I'm looking into wheels.
Thought maybe I'd get some opinions here. These are three that I had in mind but I'm definately open to opinions.
Just don't know what these would look like on my gold gtp...

You don't think they'd be to flashy?
    I'm staying with 16's.

    I forgot to add these.

I think the middle ones will be perfect on a gold gp but I think you should go atleast 17s you'll kick yourself in the ass for not going bigger later

I've got two New sets of michelins that I won in a raffle at my local shop, and one new set on the car that I just bought not long ago so 16's are going to be on it for a LONG time to come.
    What about the first wheel?
I like the second wheel but I was kinda torn on it, just looks kinda like it has to many spokes. But I added it to the list to see what the responses were.

I always thought the only PS light was in the DIC until I had my cluster out changing bulbs and saw the empty slot. Put a bulb in a walla another PS light. Lol
