Thanks, and it's running fine without a problem and no codes related to a vac leak but that hiss your hearing isn't what you think tho it wasn't there before I did the lim gasket, it came after everything was put back together..

spray some carb cleaner at the tb and vac lines around it. if the idle jumps you found a leak.
did you take the TB off? if so spray around the gasket. they can sometimes leak also.
Will do, now all that "wetness" does that look like the valve cover or did I mess up doing the lim
I think I messed up

Is the side of the head wet with oil? Becauise it would be tough to have that much of a leak right there w/o it leaking for a while. I literally biffed on my car doing a lim once. The endseal went into the lifter valley and ... well I'm the kinda guy that said.. I have to pull it apart in a couple weeks anyhow.. I drove it that way say 500+ miles. The end of the block wasn't really even moist with oil. Oil just splashes around in the valley, it's not a pressure situation.
Question: can you reuse a lim gasket? I wanna take it apart today because I think the lim is a bit off and that's what's causing the hiss noise, also I wanna put in the vc gaskets, I should of did that in the first place but I plan on tackling all the jobs that need to get done in the next 2 weeks or at least by the end of the month, the passenger side hub, rack, vc, alinement, sway link and lim hiss all need to get done before the end of this month, it's starting to get cold and I'm not catching the bus lol
the gaskets have 2 pins that hold them in place, id find it hard to believe it moved out of place.
if you got metal gaskets, you should be able to reuse them. you will need a new upper plenum gasket, aka sc gasket.
I think the runners (or whatever those blue things that go on the sides are called) moved causing the wetness and the hiss, and the wetness, also I just bought a new upper when i did the lower I can't reuse that at all? The thing was almost 70$ a rip off for that flimsy thing
once the upper paper gasket gets hot theres a 100% chance it will rip or break on you. i think rock auto has the gen 5 gasket for a bout 40$.
theres no vacuum in the valley, so no oil or hissing should be seen or heard.
de grease your engine then keep a close eye on it for the oil leak. and try spraying carb cleaner around the lim, the upper gasket under the sc, the vac lines, every thing basically.
then you can always hook a vac gauge up to the car and see what your vacuum is.
