Cute motor....must be a v6
Subbed for awesomeness!
: )
Sweet! That thing is perty (:
That blower though.
Did you have those headers custom made or can you buy a set like that for fieros? Looks perdy
I really didn't picture log too much of the build, but I got some in this thread on this site.. Another 3800sc swap.... - Pennock's Fiero Forum
It's polished, I spent a LOOOTTTT of time on the housing, it was a lot of work, so much work that when I got to the snout I gave up and sent that to farnsworth to be sent out to be polished.
The hours you must have spent on polishing alone. You must be a very patient man. Awesome job. What do you charge to polish my blower like that? .

Never again will I take on that task again.. As I said I did the housing myself but when I got to the snout I gave up and sent snout out to be polished. I might have spent 100 hours (over the winter) on the housing and it's still nowhere near what i was trying to achieve. Without even having the car running yet I can already tell it is HIGH maintenance, just sitting in the humidity is enough to require a touchup.
I got wiring 90% done, mostly just neatening it up more.. I powered everything up this morning and scanned computer and voltage and resistance tested every single sensor and so far everything looks right. First start might happen next weekend.
"just sitting in the humidity is enough to require a touchup." I know what your talking about, here in FL, depending on the season, the metals will "sweat" like a glass of ice tea and then rust and corrode any unprotected metal surface. Beautiful polish job and build!
Did you clear coat it after polishing? You have to protect that beautiful shine somehow. Did you ever think of posting a how to on here? I know I sure would like to hear how you did it.
