So I blew my trans out doing absolutely nothing to the car ... And found out that my intake manifold gasket was leaking coolant into a vacuum line both in the same day , lovely. So that's why the car was idling like crap ever since I bought it. Well I just felt the need to ***** somewhere about this expensive bull**** that I'm having to deal with but good news is the crate trans came in and it looks sweet. Hopefully I get the car back soon so I can now "start putting money into it". Lol.

Maybe the mechanic ment to say the coolant was leaking into the intake port? Either way, the mech. should have had a proper description of the issue if he is being honest.

Made sense to me, he's basically saying they would be Ass-raping you with a red shop rag, without lube (I'm assuming so since he didn't mention it). This being a metaphor of course, meaning that they screw you out of your money while not fixing your car at all.

    I'm thinking he is:
A.) and idiot...ask him some VERY novice questions to find out what he knows
Ask something like "Which vacuum line was the coolant leaking in to?" If he answers with ANYTHING other than "Well, it wasn't really a single vacuum line, it was leaking into the intake runner before the air\gas mixtures went into the cylinder." Or something like that, he is a retard. Also, ask to see the old gaskets so he can show you where they were leaking. Then ask him what the new gaskets were made out of...if he says plastic...punch him in the throat. Then ask him if he put Dexcool in your engine. If he did, put your keys in your hand and punch him in the throat again. twice.

B.) Keep in mind I mean no offense by this at all, seriously, I don't. He might have been dumbing it down for you if he thought you didn't know anything (or much) about cars. Asking him the above questions well help him realize he needs to stop that B.S. with you and tell you the truth, using the correct terminology.
