Pull the gear off.
The gear dont pull off its on a blown motor i assumed this was pressed on tighter then the original or if it was jammed on because of a piston smashig a valve bendin a pushrod
The timing gear doesn't come off? Should have a bolt on it right?
Honestly i don't know I've only messed with stock sets I just assumed they were the same
You have to pry the crank sprocket off, it does not just slide off like the single rollers. Screw driver behind it on both sides and work it off or a pry bar. As you easy it off the cam sprocket will come along with it if you do them together.
I was able to remove the cam sprocket with a pulley puller.then removing the crank from the block to get the timing set apart. I still need to remove the crank sprocket. Im gonna try that tommorow with a cou
There's not much pressure on it. When I installed mine I just used a piece of wood and a hammer with slights taps and the crank sprocket went right on. I can only assume to remove it, it won't take much.
Looks fine to me lol
Holy cow...
Im always cringing when I see this stuff... Lol
