Last month I bypassed the Boost Bypass Solenoid so the actuator was running off pure vacuum (trying to fix my low boost problem), well this morning I decided to hook up the BBV again to see if I still got my 8lbs of boost (I did). While doing this im looking at my vac gauge and with the BBV capped off running the S/C on just Vac I get a good 21 in Hg (idle), when I hook the BBV to the actuator (how its meant to) I get 17.5 in Hg (idle). After I give it a little throttle and let it get back to idle speed it will stay at 21 in Hg for about a second and go back to the 17ish. So I thought boost actuator has a leak, sprayed carb cleaner around it and no change. Where the F*** am I loosing this vacuum at? Thanks in advance to anyone who can shed some GP knowledge.
