So I'm leaving for Texas tomorrow. I've always run 91 because that's the highest I can get around here. But I know when I get into northern Texas pretty much all I can find will be 90. Is it that big of a deal? Or should I try to find some 91 somewhere. Or possibly octane booster?

With all the oil in that state the best you could do is 90??? And you should be fine. You'd be fine running 89 in a pinch.

Last time I went down we took my buddies T/A. All the gas stations up north are 90. I was hoping to find some 93 since we don't have any here lol

    That weird. I've seen 85, 87, 89, 91, 92, 93, 94, and 105 before plus E85 and E47 but never 90. You'll be fine though.

Think of it this way.. lower octane means less abuse on the throttle.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Do you mean northern Texas as in the panhandle? What city?

Alright guys that's what I figured.

Txslow6: I'm heading to Paducah. Just south of Childress. Taking 287 into Amarillo then east
