i was noticing that the engine bracket in the back goes on after the rear header is on... now I was wondering if you can drop the motor in with the rear header or do I put the header on after the engine is dropped in?

Just put the header in place first then drop the engine in. Pretty sure its about impossible to get a rear header in from top when the motor is in. I took the engine bracket off the motor after it was in the cradle. Just keep it (both of them) in your tool box in case you pull the motor in the future.
In fact I'd leave off the front header too. Again it's easy to bolt up after the motor is in.
Just set the rear header in place in the car and it'll save you a lot of headaches.
It's possible to install the lift brackets with header part off, you just have to put in a spacer (like a washer stack) on the bolts.
