I am just about done with our motor build and install. I bought ARP bolts for the flex plate but forgot to get the three larger ones for the torque convertor. The old bolts look to be in good shape but I don't know about re-using them??? Are these bolts safe to re-use or should I get new ones? Seems like a lot of power to be transferred through just three bolts to the trans... Keep in mind the motor build should have a little over 300 hp and we have plans for more mods in the future. Experienced replies will be much appreciated.

No need. Toss some blue on there if you want. Red is overkill.

I suggest some sort of locktite. My first swap I didn't use any AND used and impact to tighten them up. later down the road I heard something rattling, come to find out they backed out some. No biggie, easy fix but could have been prevented.

I reuse and impact all the time. Multiple times on the same bolts. Never had one loosen and back out.

I'm thinking db might need to upgrade his impact or have it rebuilt..lol
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
