As some of you know I chipped a piston...
So now that this happened I am going to gut the block and hone the walls and rebuild!
I plan to reuse the crank, I plan to add
-Diamond Forged Pistons w/ L32 rods 14k on them (replacing rings) 8:9:1
-Clevite 77® TriMetal™ Main and Rod Bearings
    -LS7 Lifters
    -Intense S2X
    -105# Valve Springs
    -Stock Rockers
    -Stock Valves
    -Stock Push Rods

I am just looking for any advice or suggestions for parts...

Use platigage to check your clearance on the main and rod bearings to make sure you use the right ones especially If you're going to spend the money on clevite. Take your time and don't rush. Check, check, and recheck. Torque everything to specifications. You should be fine.

And if you think your check 5 more times lol. Also make sure the crank is dead straight. It will provide you with smooth and easy cranking once you put in all the pistons. If your first piston feels very stiff the n you have it at an angle and it will lock up on ya. Also too if your not sure about it let a machine shop that has built a few rebuild yours. Dont forget to use assembly lube on the bearings before you put in the crank or rods.
im a cookie again yay me

    Forsure.

    Toothpick rods FTL.

I'd suggest a stock L36, get a better performing cam than an S2X and enjoy.

The new pistons are .030 over so I will send my block off the the shop for a hone. I might have them balance it too..

I am the 4th owner of them but only the second car they have been in. the first car had the almost identical set up as me and the JP timing chain snapped and valves met piston.

Two pistons have small dents in them but nothing to get me too worried.

Umm any dent in a piston is bad. your valve train was off. In the picture you showed notice that there is no dents other than a chunk missing. That is how all 6 pistons should be. The piston that has the dent check the valves make sure they are not bent.

    Re-read.

The PO of the pistons had that PTV issue.

Acid is saying the dents don't scare him.

Yeah but the compression in those cylinders will be off just so and depending on where your build goes it may or may not cause problems. You want everything to be exactly the same. If you aren't blueprinting then whatever. It's just personally it would bother me.

Uneven flow distribution from the manifold, difference in flow in header primaries, difference in flow between injectors.

Also note the M90 pulses air into the LIM, look at the MAP in your logs, it jumps to say the least.

They're all going to be there one way or another. I can't see how a fraction of a CC of combustion chamber volume would affect anything.

If the internet is to believed, the dents will create hot spots, for more KR goodness.

I have taken them to 3 machines shops and each one has said don't touch the piston it will be fine. If I were to smooth down the dented area it will cause more issues with weight balance is the answer I got from all three.

I guess only running it will tell, hot spots or not I am using them.
