i put a homemade cold air on my car and it was night and day difference so as far as something being wrong idk but it should have made it louder

not sure if your hitting the gas hard enough, otherwise there is definitely an issue.

Yeah you prob gotta get the rpms a little higher. Mine idling or anything under 2-2.5 rpms dont whine

Idling the blower doesn't do jack **** unless you hit hard enough on the gas so it revs up to above 3k.

Yup, you need to go into boost to really hear it.

There has to be a load on the engine to get boost, ie whine. The only way you will get that sitting still is if you, hold the brake, put the car in gear and smash the gas while still keeping the brake held.

It's louder when I'm moving and get on it. But even when I'm getting on it, it's not as loud. When I first bought it 2 years ago it was loud but after I replaced to upper and lower intake mani gaskets it hasn't been as loud since.
